I love absolutely all of the Sweet 'n Sassy digital sentiments. They are created in beautiful fonts and are thought-provoking. And the best part... you can resize them to suit any card design.

My card today uses a sentiment from the Everyday Miracles Digital Set. It's a lovely set that includes two beautiful butterfly images. The rest of the supplies include patterned paper from the My Mind's Eye "A Beautiful Life" paper pad, flowers by Recollections and Making Memories gems.

I made a CAS card that uses the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Rhubarb and Birdie Digital Stamp. Rhubarb is colored with my Copic markers (E40/E42/E44/W0/W1/W3/R00/R02/R05/BG0000/BG000/BG01) on Copic X-Press It Blending Card. The patterned paper is from the My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Sunshine paper pad and the bling is Mark Richards Naiheads.

Follow Your Art

"When dewdrops sparkle in the grass and earth's aflood with morning light, a blackbird sings upon a branch to greet the dawning after night. Then I know how fine it is to live."

I've been in a creative rut lately. So last week while struggling to create for various posts and deadlines, I gave myself permission to play. I pulled out my paint and pens and gelatos and I told myself I could use any stamp I wanted from any manufacturer. There were no rules, no timelines. It was freeing and fun. I ended up with this canvas which I created using some of my favorite Stampendous stamps.

Imagine my surprise when I discovered it would work for the new Stampendous Saturday Challenge which happens to be all about sentiments. For all of the details, please stop by the Stampendous Impressions blog this Saturday when the challenge is revealed. Yes, my post is a little early. I just couldn't wait to share my project.

"Follow Art" is a new release sentiment from Stampendous. Isn't it fantastic? I think you'll be seeing a lot of it because it's already a favorite among the design team. In fact, my friend, Janelle Stollfus just used it on an adorable card that you can check out here.

So here's how I created my canvas:

• Prime the canvas by covering it with a neutral acrylic paint; Set aside to dry.

• Using a black PITT Artist Pen Big Brush, ink the Stampendous Cling Calligraphy Sampler image and stamp it randomly on canvas.

• Color canvas using Gelatos in two shades of blue plus a pale yellow; Blend colors using a wet paint brush.

• Using various colors of Pitt Artist Pens, ink and stamp the following Stampendous images onto the canvas: Cling Jumbo Songbird, Cling Lone Bird, Cling Vintage Birdcage, Vintage Piano Perfectly Clear™ Stamps.

• Stamp “Follow Art" Stampendous sentiment onto tissue paper using Jet Black StazOn ink.

• Apply gel medium to both the front and back of tissue as you apply it to canvas.

• Edge the sentiment with a red Gelato; Smear with finger.

By the way, the quote at the beginning of my post is stamped on my canvas, just underneath "Follow Your Art." It is part of the Stampendous Cling Jumbo Songbird set. I think it's lovely.

I find that when it comes time to wrap packages, I never have enough enclosure cards. So I decided to create a bunch using this adorable, Cling Stocking Kiddo. The image is very dear to me because it reminds me of my son on Christmas day. Santa always brings him a stocking almost as long as he is. It takes my son forever to reach in and discover all of the treasures. With each one, a bigger smile appears on his face. Stampendous did a fabulous job capturing that Christmas morning joy with this one!

Did you notice this kiddo's fuzzy socks and the rim of his stocking? Stampendous is known for all of it's terrific Essentials, including the new fragments and embossing enamels that have been showcased this week. But did you know Stampendous also makes the most beautiful and colorful glitter and flock? You can purchase both either individually or in collections.

The background behind the kiddo is also a new release. It's called Cling Christmas Background and is a must-have stamp. Not only will it work with tradional cards designs but with vintage and whimsical. Did I mention everything you've seen this week is now available at the Stampendous online store?

I colored the image with Copics, die-cut some circles, attached some pretty ribbon from May Arts and a jingle bell or two and the card is done. Easy to mass-produce.

I made a simple, A2 card that uses the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps digital Chilly Paulie image. I've colored Paulie using my Copics (R00/R02/R04/W0/W1/W3/C0/BG70/BG72/BG75/BG78/BG0000/E40/E42). The patterned paper is from a 6" x 6" Bo Bunny paper pack called "Snowfall." I finished off the card by adding a rub-on sentiment from an older American Crafts Christmas collection.

Stampendous New Release Week

It's Release Week at Stampendous! The Stampendous Design Team has been super busy creating fantastic projects using the new Stampendous images and essentials. Every day this week, a few of us will be showcasing our projects. This is day 3 of the inspiration so if you missed anything earlier in the week, you can catch up here.

My card uses two of my newest favorite Stampendous stamps: Cling Holly Basket and Cling Jumbo Cardinals. By the way, you can find these as well as all of the new releases at the Stampendous online store.

To create my card, I started with a 5-1/2" x 5-1/2" dark green Bazzill card base. I then cut several panels and mats using the Echo Park Season's Greetings paper pack. On the green patterned panel, I stamped the holly and ivy image from the Cling Jumbo Cardinals set using Tsukineko's Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I also stamped the Holly Basket image using Tuxedo Black ink onto Copic X-Press It Blending Card. Both images were colored with Copic markers. Before adhering and attaching all the panels, I added a few more touches: I masked the Holly Basket and over-stamped it with the Stampendous Cling Calligraphy Sampler stamp. I also stamped this image onto the red piece of patterned paper. I added an Offray gold organdy ribbon and for a final touch, I sprinkled the main image with Stampendous Aged Gold Embossing Enamel. You don't need adhesive to use this enamel, just heat from the underside. Isn't it luscious? Stampendous has just released several new colors of this must-have product. A Sweet 'n Sassy Christmas in July Blog Hop

Welcome to the Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps Christmas in July Digi Release Day and Blog Hop. To celebrate the new Christmas digital designs, the ladies of the Sweet 'n Sassy Digi Challenge Design Team have put together a blog hop.
